Most Children are enjoying this year's hot summer weather, but it is important for parents to remember the dangers of the summer heat.

Temperatures inside a vehicle can rise to dangerous levels in minutes and serious injury or death to a child in a closed vehicle can occur in half of the time it takes in low humidity conditions.

Parents and caregivers should never leave a child in an unattended vehicle, even with the windows down.
