EMSC is a national program to reduce child and youth disability and death due to severe illness and injury. Ohio EMSC, housed within the Division of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the Ohio Department of Public Safety, incorporates pediatric issues into all aspects of the EMS system.
EMS for Children is a national program designed to reduce child and youth disability and death due to severe illness and injury. Ohio EMS for Children was created to incorporate pediatric issues into all aspects of Ohio’s EMS system. The Ohio EMS for Children committee is working to improve pediatric pre-hospital medical direction, pediatric pre-hospital equipment and pediatric care in the emergency department.
