Certification Audits

Certification audits are conducted to ensure certificate holders complete all continuing education and instructional requirements to maintain their certificates.

Each month, renewed certificates are randomly selected for audit from all levels of EMS, fire, and instructor certifications. If you are selected for audit, you will receive notification via email and U.S. Mail. The correspondence will identify the certificate being audited and the time frame in which to respond.

It is extremely important that, if audited, you:

  1. Read the instructions on the audit form carefully, and
  2. Respond to the audit notice regardless of whether or not you have fulfilled the continuing education or instructional hours renewal requirements.

Failure to respond will result in disciplinary action up to and including revocation of your certification.
